Welcome to One United Charity, Inc.
The hundreds of volunteers and Board of Directors of One-United
Charity, Inc. thank you for your interest. Since its beginnings in
2001, the non-profit One-United Charity, Inc. has 1) given support to
families of fallen heroes, and 2) supported the development of children's minds
and talents.
Our initial materials for
strengthening heroes' families and children were based on the powerful poem "One" and song "One
United," which have been broadcast repeatedly via major radio and national
television networks. Efforts then expanded to include work with organizations,
such as the US Armed Forces, to distributed the CD, "Treasuring You...and
Healing from Loss" to families of fallen heroes--soldiers, fire and police
officers. The CD is now recommended by counseling professionals for
healing from loss such as divorce, abuse, or emotional/war trauma. The CDs "One-United" and
"Treasuring You..." are available at this web site. All proceeds are
used to distribute care packages and support educational efforts; those working at
One-United Charity, Inc., do so on a volunteer basis and all operating
costs are privately underwritten.
This web site offers
opportunity to: 1) purchase the CDs "One United" or "Treasuring You...and
Healing from Loss," 2) express sentiments to families of fallen heroes, 3)
inform us of heroes' families qualifying for care packages, 4) donate to One
United Charity, 5) download free recorded music and sheet music, and 6) request educational materials
(sent to educators only.)
To date,
thousands of packages have been sent to the families of fallen heroes and to
schools, from Coos Bay, Oregon on the West coast to New York on the East coast.
We encourage you to use the things offered on this web site to build a Living Monument of Good to America's heroes that
"these dead shall not have died in vain..." and that the upcoming
generation can build on the strength of the past.
We hope that you will take these things to schools,
churches, communities, and the bereaved; but most of all, take them to heart.
"Shall we not shape history to our favor..."
