"Treasuring You...and
Healing from Loss." It is a tool to heal from the loss of a loved one. With songs that
address various aspects of grief, it was researched and developed to
send to the families of fallen soldiers, fire and police officers. But
since its development, it has become highly requested--from the general
public to counseling professionals--as a tool to heal from various
losses including death, divorce, abuse, and emotional/war trauma. Most
of the songs were originally written for a specific person, and all
songs have significant dedications. To learn the stories behind the

"Treasuring You...and
Healing from Loss" was recorded by The Adams Express, comprised of Bart
and Mariann Adams and their children Sherie, Brian, Karen, Julie James
Jed "JJ" and Michelle. They have performed together over 23 years
throughout the United States, albeit, increasing in number as they have
gone along. Just when they thought their number had stabilized, they got
another great addition when Sherie married Trent Christensen--principal
percussionist for the Orchestra at Temple Square and the Mormon
Tabernacle Choir.
At the time of recording, in their "other lives" Bart is an ophthalmologist, Mariann is a
homemaker and choreographer, Sherie is in marriage and family therapy,
Trent is in law, Brian is in computer science, Karen is in elementary
education instruction, Julie is in high school and
dance, JJ is in elementary school "pre-engineer," and Michelle is in
pre-school, delightfully dabbling in everything.
